The white walls definitely made the space a lot brighter, and of course feel a little bigger. The hardware I chose for the cabinets also came in yesterday and I love them! Exactly what I was envisioning. I can't wait to get them up on the cabinets.
This weekend I plan on reupholstering a bench that I found at a garage sale. It's exactly what I was looking for! I'm still contemplating if I'm going to leave the legs white or black? The fabric I ordered will be here today. So next week you can get a peek of what I picked for the bench.
This bench is huge. I think it's going to work well in the nook. The table is not very big due to the fact it's a small area. It's wide enough that when you sit you wouldn't have to pull the bench up to the table. I felt with a smaller bench in my plan that could be a problem, and it can seat more people or just lounge with coffee, a good read and fabulous pillows. Dreamy...
I'm excited for the new window treatments, I hope to get this coming week. Lots to do! Oh I forgot to mention my laptop decided to get a virus, so I apologize for the IPhone pictures for now. Once this project is done, I will have better quality photos taken with my actual camera. I swear!
