WEEK 2 ORC

Thursday, April 9, 2015

Welcome to week two of the One Room Challenge. If you're not familiar with the challenge, let me explain how it works. Linda, from Calling it Home is the person behind this fabulous event. Anyone with a blog can participate. You have six weeks to transform a room. You start with the before pictures, your plan, and then finish by presenting the grand finale for all to see. It's truly amazing and inspiring to see all of the talent that's out there. This is my second go around and I am truly enjoying it! Not only do I get to work under pressure, but I also get to enjoy my fabulous design when it's all said and done.

The master closet is a hot mess and in desperate need of a makeover. This was week one. So far I had to change my plans for the wallpaper. Last week when I posted the mood board I received the sample and I totally hated it. You can see the new mood board below. So far I've cleaned out my closet. Clothes that are no longer needed have been bagged up and donated. I came across some old magazines with Mary Kate Olsen gracing the cover. I figured some of these fabulous images will be incorporated into the revamp.

I'm not feeling any pressure as of right now. I scored the perfect shelf to go in the awkward nook of the closet. I painted it and I'm thinking of adding a pop of glam to it (stay tuned).

Thanks for checking in. Don't forget to check out all the other participant's  and the amazing designers  on Wednesday.
